For 75 years, the Five O’Clock Steakhouse has been a favorite dining destination for many Milwaukeeans.  In 2021, owner Stelio Kalkounos will honor this achievement by way of monthly campaigns to giving back to the community.  Each month in 2021, they will partner with a different service organization that was already working toward the betterment of the people of Milwaukee.  Stelio believes that when a company like his thrives in the neighborhood, one must give back to the community that helped make the Five O’Clock steakhouse such a great success.

The Hunger Task Force (www.hungertaskforce.org) will be the first organization that restaurant management wants to assist.  Under the leadership of Sherrie Tussler, HTF has developed new ways of making an impact in the neighborhoods that they serve.  One recent example of this is a partnership with Piggly Wiggly grocery stores and Harley-Davidson to bring their Mobile Market right into inter-city communities every day.  Their mission of getting healthy and nutritious food to those in need resonated with owner and managing partner, Stelio.  On select weekdays during January, a portion of purchases will go to support the Hunger Task Force.  In addition, all purchases greater than $100 included a $20 promotional certificate plus another $25 certificate to the Chicago Prime Family of restaurants out of Schaumburg, Illinois.
