DESCRIPTION:Established in 2022\, Alec Baca’s Jazz In Vivo (or Jazz In Vivo for short)\, is a Milwaukee-area jazz combo playing classic swing\, bossa nova\, bebop\, modern jazz\, and everything in between. In Vivo is a latin-based scientific term loosely translating to alive\, signifying the spontaneous and captivating musical moments the group strive to create as they perform. \nThe group is led by trumpeter Alec Baca. Other regular players include Pete Billmann or John Zaffiro on guitar\, Hannah Sternberg on bass\, and Christian Fox on drums. Additionally\, the group regularly collaborates with saxophonists and vocalists.
