Capuchin Community Services (www.capuchincommunityservices.org)  is the service organization which  will receive additional support from the Five O’Clock Steakhouse during February 2021.   Founded in 1968 by Capuchin Friar Brother Booker Ashe, CCS operates the House of Peace and St. Ben’s Community Meal.  By donating a portion of the proceeds during February to Capuchin Community Services, hopes to help highlight a valuable asset in the community.  Hopefully, by partnering with the Capuchin Community, we can bring them not just more funding for their programs, but also more publicity, perhaps even help recruit new volunteers among those reading this article today.  It’s wonderful how food can bring people together in so many ways.  Inspired by St. Francis of Assisi, the House of Peace supports development efforts in the African-American community, and St. Ben’s Community Meal serves a broad cross-section of people in need, at their Meal Hall in downtown Milwaukee.

Speaking of saints, February 14th is St. Valentine’s Day.  What better way to celebrate with someone you love by enjoying a hearty steak dinner at Milwaukee’s premier steakhouse.  With a soft lit ambiance and a great wine selection, you’ll be sure to make the evening memorable with your valentine.
