In recent years, The Five O’Clock Steakhouse has started a tradition of donating a portion of proceeds each month to local nonprofits working to help fellow Milwaukeeans in need. We aim to be a good neighbor and good citizens and so we are happy to lend a hand to these dedicated, caring and hard-working organizations.

In order to have a wide-ranging effect, we’ve tried to include a variety of organizations working in many different sectors, from meal programs for the hungry to animal welfare to veterans organizations to groups offering services to the homeless and to women and families in need.

The organizations (local nonprofits) this year include Capuchin Community Services (St. Ben’s), Broadscope and Milwaukee Center for Independence, Our Next Generation, Sal’s/Denoon Recovery and East Side Alano Club, Rescue Mission’s Joy House & Safe Harbor Programs, Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative and Dryhootch, Sojourner Milwaukee, Milwaukee County Historical Society, Wisconsin Humane Society & MADACC, Hunger Task Force, Street Angels MKE and first responders/law enforcement appreciation.
